AIC Presented in Cologne

On October 26, 2011, GEC's David Swanson and CEI's Mark Hentze presented the Winsport Athletics and Ice Complex (AIC) at the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) semi-annual Congress in Cologne, Germany. The AIC was presented in the Elite Sports Facilities category, and garnered praise for the way its design enables the interaction of elite athletes with young competitors at all levels. IAKS is the only non-profit organization concerned globally with the subject of sports facility development and has therefore been awarded the status of Recognized Organization by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
