How do you design an office to reflect and reinforce the culture of the business that works in it?

Stuart Olson is a construction management enterprise that wanted their place of work to reflect the nature of their business. To achieve their goals, we designed a 20,000 ft² office that featured the same construction materials they use everyday. The reused rough timber we repurposed from the original building construction gives the space a uniquely raw, yet finished feeling.

In addition, recognizing that so much of their work is conducted outdoors, the office features extensive use of windows to bring daylight deep within the space and maintain a bright, open feeling throughout.
