SENIOR ASSOCIATE, M.Arch., B.A., Architect, AAA
Leslie is a skilled project architect with over 13 years of experience in community sports and recreation projects. Since joining GEC in 2013 as a student architect and becoming a design architect in 2014, she has played a pivotal role in shaping our presence in the sport, community, and wellness sectors. Her expertise and commitment to designing inclusive spaces have contributed to meaningful projects that bring people together across Western Canada.
Leslie’s portfolio includes the MNP Community & Sport Centre Redevelopment, the Belmont Fieldhouse, and the Rose Kohn Jimmie Condon Arena Upgrades. Her attention to detail and ability to integrate all project components and user groups make her a valuable asset. She leads with confidence, organizing and coordinating project teams to drive success.
Her passion for creating accessible and community-focused spaces extends beyond her projects. She has presented on inclusivity in recreation centre design at a recent Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) conference and has completed Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) training.
As she steps into this leadership role, we look forward to her continued impact in shaping vibrant and inclusive spaces.
