An LRT facelift complementing downtown landmarks.

GEC worked together with Calgary Transit, Transportation Infrastructure, and the Government of Alberta to coordinate the preservation of the historic Amur Cherry trees in front of the Court of Appeal Building. We shifted the canopy to the east to respect the historic Court of Appeal Building.

The east portion of the 4th Street SW Station platform ties seamlessly into the surface of the new Calgary Courts Centre Parkade. GEC also assisted in the coordination of the studies for locating the new Traction Power Substation, located north of the new Platform.
