GEC is a highly collaborative studio comprising architects, students, interior designers, technical, and support staff. We offer a team-oriented work environment, opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects, and a dedication to excellence.

Committed to continual teaching, training, and learning, our practice empowers individuals to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility as they expand their experience and knowledge. We accept applications from registered and intern architects, graduate architects eligible for a provincial internship, architectural technologists, interior designers, and students throughout the year.

GEC Architecture (GEC) is a design practice with projects in the recreational, educational, institutional, transit and residential sectors throughout Canada, the United States, and internationally. Our team focuses on exceptional design solutions and client service. We support each other to collaborate, share knowledge and hone our craft.

We are looking for a creative and outgoing Graphic Designer, known internally as a Marketing Specialist, who will be responsible for working with our marketing and leadership teams to create compelling proposals, award submissions, presentations, and project content through appealing graphic and layout design.

Who you are:

  • An outgoing and collaborative person with a talent for graphic and information design, continually bringing fresh ideas and perspectives and constantly wanting to push creative boundaries.
  • Has a keen and dedicated ability to manage their own time and workload.
  • Passionate about the architectural industry and seeing our built communities grow.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree/diploma in graphic design, information design, marketing, business or related field.
  • Technical mastery in Adobe Creative Suite – specifically, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • A contributor to social media, video creation, and other marketing-related content.
