Congratulations to the University of Calgary’s Dino U20 men’s curling team! Team Wipf has been hurrying hard across Alberta during the 2023–24 season, culminating in a win at the U20 Provincials playdown. This weekend, they will be headed to Fort McMurray with the Dino’s women’s team to compete against other curlers from across Canada in the U20 Nationals.
Behind every successful team lies a community of supporters cheering them on every step of the way. GEC has been happy to sponsor Team Wipf for several years as they develop and hone their individual and team skills, chase their sports’ highest accolades, and form life-long bonds friendship and camaraderie through the spirit of competition. Team Wipf team has been persevering hard throughout the season, which is a testament to the leadership and teamwork of everyone involved!
GEC is a strong believer in the positive affects sport can have on the physical and mental well-being of youth in our communities.
