Functionally flexible spaces to accommodate evolving needs.

The aim of the project was to provide the Alberta Research Council with Research and Development facilities in Calgary, particularly in the information and communications technology fields. Contained within the 5,388 m2 complex are executive offices and support spaces, a 196-seat auditorium and a high head laboratory for research and testing in a variety of industries.

The office and research spaces are provided with an extensive cable access system integrated into a low profile access floor. Modular floor plates were developed around central communication and network rooms. This allows the facility to meet the needs of software, hardware and related industrial development well into the next century.
