Compassionate care for animals and community.
As Calgary’s first established animal welfare organization, the Calgary Humane Society (CHS) connects the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority. This comprehensive redevelopment project includes a new clinic, expanded multi-purpose animal spaces, a new and welcoming visitor-oriented entrance, and reconfiguration of animal housing for cats, dogs and exotics. The new spaces within the CHS Facility Enhancement Project will accommodate improved animal housing and species separation, a larger clinic, better isolation, improved acoustics and back-of house efficiencies, and increase the CHS’ capacity for animal intakes as demand continues to grow in Calgary and the surrounding region.
