Louise Station and Solaire Towers

A multi-functional live/work solution unlike anything built before.

The Louise Station and Solaire Towers development is a public-private partnership between The City of Calgary and a private developer. This development is a new type of venture for The City of Calgary, presenting an opportunity for a municipal, multiple purpose building composed of affordable and market housing, a Fire/EMS Station, and small commercial retail units.

The two separate housing towers rise from the podium and contain the affordable (11 storeys – Louise Station) and market (18 storeys – Solaire) housing. The development provides separate entrances for the market and affordable housing, as well as separate amenity community and gathering spaces for the two residential and two retail developments on site.

This is a comprehensive redevelopment that maximizes the potential of city-owned property and reflects an integral development, which is the cornerstone of smart growth.
