Medicine Hat City hall

Connecting the city to the natural landscape.

The design of the City Hall gives physical form to many of the planning principles established by GEC Architecture in preparing the Downtown Planning Study for Medicine Hat.

The City Hall is visually and physically connected to the natural landscape of the South Saskatchewan River Valley as well as to the downtown core.  A large public atrium space links the legislative and administrative components of the building and serves as a public foyer from which the departments on all three floors can be easily identified and located.
