GEC designed an office space that genuinely functions, looks, and feels like it belongs to a construction company. The result is a space that celebrates the construction process and its techniques while accurately reflecting Stuart Olson Dominion’s identity and brand.

GEC designed for the contrasting needs of employees and providing the highest quality work environment. The design recognized that individuals who are out of the office and on construction sites for the majority of their workday are traditionally given individual offices on the building perimeter. This approach blocks the natural light for those who occupy the building much more frequently. As a consequence, offices were internalized and given glass walls, thereby giving all workers access to natural light.
