Understanding the brewing process helped make this facility a success.
The unprecedented growth at Wild Rose Brewery required a larger brewery to keep up with increased production and distribution. The new facility required a design with the brewing process and beer delivery in mind.
The first stage involves the flow of grain from silos outside the building into a milling facility and into a brewhouse. Product is then transferred to fermentation tanks and finally to bottling and packaging. Packaged beer is then transported to a temperature-controlled storage area with direct access to the building exterior for shipping.
GEC developed a floor plan that minimized wasted space and increased output and productivity by working collaboratively with Wild Rose Brewery and fully understanding the production process.
