Saskatoon’s Stonebridge School

June 30, 2020

Stonebridge School is a joint-use school in Saskatoon that combines three facilities into a single building – a public school (Chief Whitecap School, shown), a Catholic school (St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School) and a community centre. GEC worked closely with the Whitecap Dakota First Nation to create spaces that would express their cultural heritage and create an integrated educational experience. The program for Stonebridge incorporates the principles of 21st-century learning, including Da Vinci labs – open, flexible space used for a multitude of creative activities to take place.
