Andrew has been a Partner at GEC since 2008, and with 18 years of experience, he brings a thoughtful design approach and expertise in designing iconic places in our cities. Andrew has been involved in several projects which define Calgary and Edmonton’s urban form ranging from major recreation facilities to transportation networks and wastewater treatment plants. Andrew is passionate about architecture and has an incredible determination to solve design problems with the most effective, innovative solutions.
Andrew received a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo. He is a registered Architect in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba and has led diverse teams on several projects throughout Western Canada. He has been an active member of the Alberta Bicycle Association since 2007 and was Chair of the Renfrew Community Association DP Applications committee for eight years. He is an advocate for design innovation and excellence and has presented to public and private institutions in across Canada about innovations in recreation and high-performance facility design.
