Tamara joined GEC‘s Toronto studio in 2020 after working for award-winning architectural practices both locally and internationally. Her 16 years of work experience include institutional, civic, recreational, mixed-use, and residential typologies. Since joining GEC, she has made significant contributions, leveraging her previous design work on GEC’s current post-secondary projects, including at York University and George Brown College. Tamara is experienced in leading teams through the design and technical production of projects, providing effective communication, schedule management, and commitment to the goals of the client. She is involved in projects at all stages, from concept design through to construction administration, including liaising with clients, consultant coordination, municipal authorities, and user group consultations.
