Strathearn Heights has long been part of Edmonton’s story. Now, this beloved neighbourhood is being renewed into a vibrant urban village—one that honours its past while creating space for almost 200 new homes, retail and public spaces, designed to welcome people from all walks of life.
At the heart of the plan is a pedestrian greenway that will connect the River Valley Parkway to the new Strathearn LRT station on Edmonton's new Valley Line LRT, weaving nature, movement, and community together. With tree-lined sidewalks, neighbourhood shops, and local cafés just steps away, the streets are designed to feel friendly, walkable, and full of everyday life.
This transformation is about more than new buildings—it’s about creating a place where home, connection, and opportunity meet. Direct access to the LRT links residents to the wider city, while active street fronts and shared spaces bring people together closer to home. The design blends seamlessly into the surrounding community, ensuring Strathearn Heights remains familiar even as it grows.
As the project moves forward in phases, it carries with it the spirit of renewal: a neighbourhood reimagined as a welcoming village in the heart of Edmonton, where history, connection, and modern urban living come together.
