GEC Architecture is thrilled to share the fantastic news of achieving a remarkable three-peat victory at the 2023 Edmonton Urban Design Awards (EUDAs)!
Our projects have once again demonstrated outstanding excellence, with the City Hall Plaza and Fountain securing the coveted Award of Excellence for Civic Design, and Stadium Station clinching the Award of Excellence for Urban Architecture – both top honors in their respective categories. Additionally, University Commons at the University of Alberta received the well-deserved Award of Merit in the Heritage Projects category.
The EUDAs, celebrating excellence in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and overall design, play a pivotal role in enhancing the city’s built environment. In a pool of 57 submissions across eight diverse categories, our work stands out as a testament to our commitment to innovation and design excellence.
